KitchenSpot only works if diners trust the ratings and owners trust that we’re fair. These rules don’t change.

1. 1Rankings are never for saleWhere a restaurant ranks depends only on diner ratings. Paid placements are separate and always labeled Sponsored.
2. 2Verified diners count firstA receipt photo verifies a visit. Verified reviews appear first and weigh more in awards.
3. 3Owners can always replyEvery owner can reply publicly to any review, and can ask us to check one that breaks our rules.
4. 4No fake reviewsWe remove reviews that copy text, advertise, or come from people paid to write them, following the FTC’s rule on fake reviews.
5. 5Honest menusMenus we read from a restaurant’s website are marked until the owner verifies them, and show when they were last checked.
